FAQ sur les remorques basculantes

Tilt-deck trailers are ideal for towing heavy-duty equipment and machinery. With an hydraulically powered tilt function, operators can efficiently load heavy cargo, especially wheeled machinery like vehicles, construction hardware and lawn care equipment. We have both single- and tandem-axle models available, and our tilt trailers range in payload capacity from 1,700 pounds to over 13,000 pounds to cover a wide range of towing needs. All our tilt-deck trailers for rent are sourced from trusted brands like Felling, Towmaster, Gatormade, Anderson, Marksman, Bri-Mar and more. Some trailers may require a CDL; please contact United Rentals to confirm your requirements and see specific product details on the product listings above.

FAQ
How much do flatbed tilt trailers weigh?

Our inventory of flatbed tilt trailers includes a variety of sizes with empty weights that range from our lightest 500-pound trailer to our heaviest 4,080-pound tilt trailer. Heavier trailers may require a CDL to operate; please contact your local United Rentals branch for more information.

How do you safely load and unload a tilt trailer?

First, confirm that the hydraulic tilt-deck trailer is securely hitched to the truck and any objects and onlookers are kept at a safe distance. After releasing the quick release on the trailer deck's side, lock it into position. This will activate the hydraulic lift. As the deck rises and tilts toward the ground, be sure to move away from the truck or vehicle that is connected to the trailer. Carefully drive or load the vehicle or machinery onto the lift after making sure the hydraulic cylinder is engaged. Pay attention to how weight is distributed. The hydraulic lift will automatically activate and gently tilt the bed back into position after cargo is loaded. For help loading and unloading items from your flatbed tilt-deck trailer rental, please reach out to your local United Rentals branch.

Can you haul a car on a tilt deck trailer?

Yes, in fact one of the primary benefits of using a tilt trailer is how simple it makes loading wheeled machinery. The hydraulic bed conveniently tilts down, creating a ramp for the vehicle or equipment to drive up onto.
