OSHA recommends one easily accessible hand wash station for every 20 employees or guests. If your jobsite has 11 or more hand laborers, OSHA requires you to have a hand wash station that includes running water, hand soap and towels, not just hand sanitizer.
Our portable one-station hand wash stations include hand soap and paper towels, as well as water tanks for both fresh water and wastewater, so no additional supplies are needed. Our portable four-station sink pods include hand soap, paper towels, water heaters and wastewater tanks, but they require both a power and water source. These sink pods can be powered by a 110-volt electrical plug-in, solar power or propane, and they require a water supply by an onboard tank or garden hose.
Hand wash stations must be easily accessible and conveniently located for your workers and guests. We recommend you place them close to your portable restrooms so users can quickly wash their hands after using the restroom.
